I like the way you contrasted the old with the new like this. That is so collossally sad and stupid -- why do people have to "modernize" (read: suck the life out of) things? My only consolation is that, forty years from now, all the current modernization will be covered with moss and looked upon as old-fashioned

That's so sad. Tear down the old to make room for the metallic world. This shot is simply amazing and effective. You captured both worlds quite well.
