Description
This is just a quick (for me) sketch I wanted to do of one of my OCs, Trench. I really don't like having sameface in my characters/drawings so I like to sketch out their structure and what not! 90% of the time I base an OCs looks off a combo of their parents, rather than making their parents based on them. I have a lot of sketches like this, but I figured I should start somewhere, and Trench's parents are like the oldest gen of my OCs.
I'm just gonna write out some info on them below ^ ^:
Blitz (father of Trench, guard, mate to Sequoia)
♣ A battle-torn, silver black mackerel tabby Norwegian Forest Cat mix with shaggy, long fur. His cheekbones are defined and his snout long with a flat nose bridge and prominent, round chin. His dull, green-amber eyes are round with defined "eye-liner" and a perpetual worried-look, making him look worn. His whiskers are frazzled and a scar in his lip reveals a canine.
♣ A large, medium-build tom with sturdy legs and large, hairy paws; however, he appears small as he's often with his larger family. His tail, like his fur, is shaggy and textured.
♣ Blitz has seen a life of battle protecting his colony and it shows, seeming to age him, but despite a mangy appearance, everyone knows him as the gentle, humble, and cheeky mate to the colony's matriarch. Being a soldier, he's one of the few who admired his son's mate, Tori, and her headstrong attitude.

Sequoia (mother of Trench, matriarch and seer, mate to Blitz)
♠ An elegant, chocolate (colourpoint) Ragdoll with plush, dense fur. Her cheekbones are defined on a round face with a stout muzzle and prominent, squared chin. Her eyes are round and all-seeing, a piercing blue, shimmering a red in the pupil. Her whiskers are long and plentiful, and her ears pointed with dark tufts.
♠ A massive (my largest OC), medium-build she-cat with lean legs and round paws. Her tail resembles a foxes in its thickness.
♠ Sequoia is an imposing leader in her size and composure, but her colony knows her as approachable and loving, always willing to offer a paw or the very least, some advice. As a seer, she interprets prophetic messages from an unknown beyond, helping her guide her cats on the peaceful path she values above all else. Doesn't approve of her son's choice in mate.

Trench (father of Valkyrja, herbal medic, mate to Tori)
♥ A substantial, black classic tabby NFC-Ragdoll mix with dense, long fur. His cheekbones are defined with a medium-length, scruffy muzzle and prominent chin. His round eyes are piercing green, contrasted by a dark "eye-liner." His whiskers are frazzled and long, ears pointed with dark tufts.
♥ A substantial (my third largest OC) tom with a heavy build and strong legs standing on hefty, furry paws. His fur is dense, but not as plush as his mother's, so his tail is shaggy.
♥ Trench is a handsome tom who focused his time on herbs and healing, of which both parents approve. Though approachable, he keeps to himself and his studies, but the colony knows him as the friendly, loyal tom he is. However, no one quite seemed to approve or understand his choice of mate in the fiery trickster rogue, Tori, whom he helped out of the colony's prison. Regardless, the colony recognizes his happiness with her and mourned with him when she passed during kitting.
I'll probably do more of these of other OCs, and the next one will probably be my main OC, Valka, who I can never draw her the way I want her to look ;;; Nevertheless, I'll try. I've no idea if anyone's at all interested in knowing more about my OCs but I'll still be writing about them in drawing descriptions!
