You wouldn't believe it, but the day I started doing sketches for you, I was getting up to get ready for work... I turned on the TV and a hilarious episode with Buizel as the star pokemon was just coming on! It was like a sign! If I believed in such things

My mom actually enjoys my furry art now though my dad isn't all for it still He didn't like it from the start. "I wish you'd draw people" he's always saying

HAHA, Ive shown my parents a couple of fan art sketches for furry video games/shows so they wouldnt think of anything, they have no idea Im a furry or what DA is and I'd rather keep it that way

Well, I never think it's a very good idea to keep your parents in the dark. My dad may not have been supportive at first, but now he's telling me stuff like... "You're getting better." ect... My mom really likes my furry art.

I'd start showing them a few 'funny animal' drawings, to let em adjust or something. I never like keeping secrets from my parents. It always ends badly

Try umm... drawing something furry and showing it to them, ask them what they think? That's what I did. I mean... my mom bought me a book called "Freaks" (by Steve Miller-- I highly recommend it) that pretty much introduced me to anthros... and then I found out about DeviantArt. I found out about furries. I was hooked

You ought to try showing them one of your furry drawings! Just... one in which the characters are fully clothed I don't think most people have anything against furries... Just the people who are haters, or you know, bullies...

Agh... I'd be on MSN right now chatting with you if it wasn't for the fact that I'm utterly, and entirely exhausted.... the last 24 (from about 5 PM Pacific yesterday, to 5 PM today) hours were probably the most intense and tiring I've ever had. I think I'll explain in a journal some time soon

Though I'm sure I'll probably get people complaining to me how their jobs are more hectic
