Description
Stop me if you've heard this one before.So a super hot superheroine named Peril Proof is all the rage in Super City. Before long, she meets the superhero of her dreams, gets married, settles down, then puts on 700lbs and blames it on Type 2 Atomic Diabetes and a slow thyroid. There might be something to the Atomic Diabetes, no one can really explain how she ended up over a foot taller. Now Peril Proof is known as Pink Pachyderm.
RP Publishing set out to tell the story of this superheroine in a very controversial series of comics. After only three issues the comic was cancelled and while the African American community lamented the loss of a comic about a "thick" heroine, most people with good taste blasted the comic for its "too realistic" depiction of modern married life.
