Description
assignment 2 for JakobA little nod to her previous TWD shenanigans
shes a professional lead rope breaker
Snowfire was a difficult horse, he always knew that. Their first white December was ruined by her grand escape at the starting line. She’d broken the leadrope that had her tied and decided to explore the area, not being found until a few hours later when everyone had left.
That was on him, he guessed, for not getting stronger rope, or keeping a good enough eye on her. They had a difficult relationship due to her hard headedness. She was a stubborn horse that resisted if she felt she was being pushed in a way she didnt like.
And she had a restless mind, she wouldnt stand still for long. Unbeknownst to Jakob, his leadrope for this year had been worn down from days of her idle chewing. As is typical, it finally gave in while Jakob was not around to notice. And thus, Snowfire’s second white December grand escape had begun. She didnt go far, but she didnt need to in order to cause trouble. She just so happened to be interested in all the ruckus around the interview area.
Jakob nearly had a heart attack when he realised she wasnt where she was supposed to be. He ran around, well, inconspicuously sped walked around trying to find her. Snow aided him in being able to follow a hoofprint trail.
Thankfully, she was satisfied with her exploration, and didnt try run off when Jakob finally found her. He quickly tried to escape, holding onto the side of her halter firmly.
Suddenly, he realised he was being spoken to. He froze up as his eyes landed on the man that had been interviewing people in this area all day. Who knew that walking through the middle of the interview area would give the wrong impression, huh.
He’d just said something….and then again repeated it. But Jakob was so panicked he didnt take it in. This time he was staring straight at the man, so the stranger did not assume he had misheard, instead, an odd silence occurred.
Several moments passed.
And a few more.
“Huh?” Was the intelligent response that eventually escaped his lips.
