I'm starting a new series of drawings, called Page Poppers. I recently downloaded Gimp and started using it instead of Pixlr (RIP Pixlr, for now). I was trying it out and figured I could leave the background there so everybody could see original designs and mistakes. It also combines digital and traditional media in a perfect way. But, onto the story behind this.....

Flux Capacitor is based on Back to the Future. This is true. But, during me in the process of creating her design, SOMEONE decided to butcher her backstory and they slapped the label "Timelord" onto her. They also quite literally butchered her tail. So this is her third regeneration. I posted this one first because I kinda am reluctant to do number 2, it's a little more based on Delcatty than it is Doctor Who or BTTF.

But, about the backstory, don't think i exactly just accepted someone changing her, or that she just RECENTLY became a timelord. She's been a timelord for a little under a year, and before I started this DeviantArt. But as reluctant as I was to change her into a timelord, it REALLY matched her pre-timelord story. The reason she looks the way she does, why she is a scientist and a time traveler, right down to her name! (Flux meaning constantly changing or flowing out, meaning regeneration, and capacitor, a unit for storing electricity. Yes, you heard me correctly. Electricity)

Lastly, this is the first picture in a while that doesn't have a speedpaint to go with it. But I will definitely get to recording my screen on my next drawing, I just removed my recording studio and downloaded it under a different email because I can't afford it

(If you're expecting a fun fact, you're getting it. This one was inspired by the 12th Doctor, and was drawn up with a different design when he debuted in Deep Breath)
