Snowberry was born in Cloudsdale and lived with only his mother, no one knows what happened with his father. His mother often had to leave him alone, which he got very used to. he grew up in charge of their home and having to do most of the housework while his mother ran a beautyberry farm in Canterlot, which left her very exhausted and she often had no time to bond with Snowberry. Eventually, she grew too old and frail to continue working, and they then had no source of income, so Snowberry took charge of the farm. He ended up spending most of the day farming while his mother took care of their home, basically switching places. After a while, things got boring for Snowberry. He decided to take some of the leftover berries home to his mother, where he made them into various jams and baked goods. he found that he couldn't make food look pretty, but that it tasted good no matter how shitty it looked. he got his cutie mark this way, the beautyberries representing his farming occupation and the strewn out berries representing his disorganization. he attempted to make more money off of the treats but no one would purchase things that looked ugly- no one even wanted the free samples they were offered. After his mother passed away, he farmed and baked even more as a way to cope. he ended up with too much and ended up feeding the homeless ponies in canterlot.
