Matrix was created by Michele Garvin. Costume designed by her & Brian Rosen.

Matrix was just shy of being a founding member of the Avant Guardians, but became one of their most long standing members thereafter. Constantly modifying her armor, she has control of other electronic devices as well. Later merging with a modified clone of herself called Violator, she would occasionally morph into a more violent version of herself called Dark Centurion. Much like her sister Dragonstorm, Matrix also later went into seclusion, but it is believed she digitized herself and entered cyberspace, possibly battling cybercrime.
