I had a fabulous weekend with this costume <3 I'm planning on doing a full journal with how I did the costume and my thoughts on it.
Expect a LOAD of photos of this costume, with Zack, Aeris and Tifa <3 I'm going to spread out the posting to not flood the inboxes :3

It was actually, I have bruises on my arms from carrying it on my shoulder. Plus the hilt started to wiggle so i was terrified that it would come appart D:

The blad part was foam, and the hilt parts were wood. I have brusies on my forearms where I propped the wood against it
