Just working out a few ideas on this piece. The colors came out smoking though. Which is what I really wanted for this piece. As well as working on a little 2d placement as well.Related content

Good colours, good render, perfectly placed. Whats good here also is that this is a textbook example of how to use a 'clouds' type backbround in a 3d abstract and not have it look corny.
I don't like the 2d though... too much for my taste.

hah no prob that last comment was in a hurry, allow me to go a bit more in depth, first off the render is really interesting, the shading and lighting, change of tones, and overall shape and form all play into eachother very well, i like that its segmented yet it flows. the overall color of the piece is top knotch, cant go wrong with orange, actually you CAN go wrong with it, but you used it very tastefully. the backing 2d is pretty solid, the grid WORKS, which is something i havent seen in a while. my favorite part of the backing 2d would have to be the right hand site, its darker, harder, and very solid compared to the segemented render. keep up the good work man, im watching you
