It's not that I hate GT Trunks, I just prefer the other ones. In this picture I portrayed him in (in my opinion) his worst state in GT, he actually does have some good moments. Not as much as Future Trunks though.
GT on its own isn't the worst series in the world, not at all. It's just not as good as Z.

I honestly feel like DBGT ruined the characters. Trunks became a brokeback reject. Goku got a tan, had a hard time beating up giant worms, and since when did he get his power from the planet???? Trunks doesn't go past super saiyan. His future self is stronger and MUCH hotter.
Also, I hate how Goten ended up and Gohan needs those glasses gone. and Vageta and his daughter Bra(bulla in american dub)....just...no. And most of the characters I love don't even show up anymore.
I guess that is what you should expect when Akira Toryama wasn't apart of the production and creation of it.

Yeah, what happened to the epic Trunks we seen in DBZ, The One who destroyed Mecha Frieza and the emotion from losing all his friends? The GT Trunks totally a nerd like GT Gohan and way too relaxed. X( Nice work by the way.

Well, at the end of DBZ he looks exactly like Future Trunks, Doesn't he? Yeah, I agree with all of you. I think all the characters of alternate future DBZ should've looked the same in GT. But what I'm more dissapointed with is Gohan. I REALLY hate how they messed Gohan up in GT. They really should have made him look like Future Gohan. Future Gohan to me was a whole lot better concept of his adult form. Especially his hair style; mostly layed down with a bunch of fringes sticking up at the front. I thought that hairstyle for him was an importaint trademark for his character design. He had it like that for most of his childhood, so why couldn't the designers keep it that way?!
And another thing.. Gohan and Trunks had a really strong attatchment of friendship in the alternate timeline. And then when you look at later DBZ and GT, all that stuff never happened and the powerful bond between the two doesn't exist anymore.. That really depressed the holy hell out of me one time. Well, at least in GT Trunks mentions that Goten AND Gohan are his good friends, which cheered me up at least.
Well, in conclusion, not everybody's ideas please everyone. It may sound unfair, but sadly, it's true.

kept more to the original character-design in Z.
Gohan did look a lot better in the future world,

I dunno hey... Maybe my fangirl status is blinding me but... I think he's hot either way. And as a kid he's just adorable. But I do admit he looks better without the glasses.
