That's awesome! I've always wondered how to make water like that... In addition to surface effects, don't forget that the sandy floor would have water reflections on it (they would especially be in the little pool of yours). For that, you can use a small Dodge tool in a zig-zaggy stroke.

great tutorial.. I usually just don't do what I don't know what to do... as I'm more of a impulsive and less of an eager to learn. But your tutorial is just right. It isn't to long, nor to complicated, and I'm even glad to say it atracts you to read it.

If you go onto photoshop and into the help section there should be a free online tutorial from them, they have neat little sections and blahblahblah.

Yay, this is the est ttrorial i"ve ever seen at explaining something. Its easy to understand and to the point. The water is beautiful, and th elayer idea makes it so much easier than when you do everything ontop of eachother. Layers are just so much easier. Great tutorial!
