The Bank of Spain (Banco de España) is older than its current headquarters in Madrid, with the bank itself created by King Carlos III in 1782 and the building on Plaza de Cibeles completed almost 110 years later in 1891. When I first saw it, I thought it was a luxury hotel! I wish my bank looked this beautiful.
