This is my small entry in Thundercats JAM. I chose Mumm-Ra because he was such a cool character. I remember rushing home from school to watch that awesome show back in the 80's!!! This piece was inked loosely with a brush.These were all the talented folks involved in the JAM...

Today I bought a 5-issue set of Thundercats comics featuring The Return of Hammerhand! I picked up a bunch of the TCats comics lately, most of which I haven't read, but #0 was pretty funny.

when I saw this image I said "WOW I LIKE it" ....freat work
i hope you for the next JAM...Street fighter , see in my journal the info...allthough in next days I will have a new journal with a interesting way for the JAM, Maybe a match of fights ( like street fighter) where each participant will fight with his image, for example arzuza vs Shaunward or something others with all the participants and people will decide who wins by voting. It will be interesting, in next days maybe I will put the information in the journal...it is just an idea per now...

He's one of the most hilarious people I ever met....his impersonation is more of a cross between He-Man (not sure if you are familiar with that 1980's property) and Lion-O!

I was not sure which 80's shows you got down in Argentina, plus I'm about 8 years older than you, so i was not sure if you would remember those from back in the day. Me and my brother loved He-Man. I remember the girls in my neighborhood had some of the JEM dolls. I remember watching that show too.

We had almost all the popular cartoons from the USA, but those were our favourites.
I also remember watching Silver Hawks, they were awsome.
And I LOVED Robotech! Do you remember it?
Jem was one of those lame shows that I couldn't stop watching, like a guilty pleasure

HA HA!! lame like "Saved by the Bell"....or the Brady Bunch....it was like a train wreck, but I could not look away!!!
SILVER HAWKS ROCKED! TRANSFORMERS WAS MY FAVORITE....We had Robotech (my cousin was really into the show), but I never got to see that show...but I did watch Battle of the Planets...and the Voltron cartoons!!!! Awesome!!!!!!

I forgot Transformers! My brothers loved that show, and for what they tell me, I watched it too, but I don't remember! I guess I was too little
I think the 80's cartoons and Disney films where a big influence. I think they made me love fantasy so much!

Transformers is my favorite 80's cartoon. i have the 1986 movie on dvd and I watch it all the time...I remember seeing that in the theater and being so sad seeing Optimus Prime die.
all those shows inspired me as well. i had a big imagination as a kid and used to run around pretending I was Han Solo or Luke Skywalker

HaHa! I looked more like a little Han Solo...i think it was the dark hair. Ha!
I used to run around with a cowboy gun and holster with a cardboard tube or flashlight (my lightsaber) hanging off the holster. People were probably confused when they saw me.

But the old ones, the new ones were awful in my opinion

yeah, the very last one was good, but the first two were not the greatest!!! they could have done so much more with some of those characters and cut out the "kiddie" stuff in the first prequel. Anakin Skywalker should have been more of a badass teenager in the first one (not a cute little kid), and not have been such a little whiny goof...he was fairly cool by the last movie.
Nothing beats the ORIGINAL TRILOGY. I can watch those over and over again!

I was sad how they revealed who Boba Fett was and showed him as a goofy kid in Epsiode 2....that really ruined my childhood dreams of who that mystery bad guy was. Boba Fett was everyone's favorite when I was a kid, and everyone had a theory of who or what he was.....
