Why,so far from season 8 we can tell that this Doctor is the type of jerk who doesn't care about other lifes comparing to the 10th and the 11th . We can tell that from the episodes , Into the dalek, Dark water , and kill the moon (there is other episodes with his jerk moments as well but I only mentioned 3 .) So from these episodes he is lack of sympathy , unbecoming of the Doctor etc.
PS: I am a whovian , but 12th has gone too far.
