Like pearls of dew upon the leafLike sparkling sand swept on the beach
Like comets shooting through the sky
Like points of light trapped in the eye
These times are sweetness
These times are richness
These times are days gone by
Like secrets we can never tell
Like treasures we can never steal
Like hopes we keep in times awry
Like dreams of wings that let us fly
These times are wondrous
These times are boundless
These times are when we try
Like waking up before the sun
Like waiting for the day to come
Like wishing to be young and spry
Like knowing truth apart from lie
These times are precious
These times are endless
These times are you and I
