Description
The star goddess Tala feels all warm and fuzzy when she catches a glimpse of one.Started out one week ago as a tribute to Arnold Arre's version of Tala from his comic "Mythology Class", but ended up as something far from it. Done intermittently whenver I got free time. Also inspired by Teeth's song "Shooting Star". The other version had her boobs covered with star pasties, but I decided this one's better.

Her outfit is so amazing!
And, of course, the entire picture is gorgeous I really like how you worked with color here, balancing so well the cool and warm areas

Your drawings always make me happy. This is beautiful. The colors you choose are perfect for the piece you are drawing.
She reminds me of one of the characters by Neil Gaiman drawn by Charles Vess. I liked the pinoy touch you added. The vinta, alibata and the Philippine flag of course.

Beautiful. I love the use of blue and orange together--as well as the way the light shines on her knee.

Thank you! I never thought I'd make the blues work with the warm colors when I started, though. I'm glad you liked it.

holla back, young'un
but seriously, this is stellar work, man. The clothing was well handled and pretty stylistic. It's a greeat narrative too---is if the star not only gives her joy, but also gives her life. She gains more color on the parts of her body that are closest to the star. Yes, that's because of teh lighting, but whether intentional or not, it's deeper than that.
really nice job--Mr. RoBoTo

she is forever the star in the eyes of the beholder -- like the different elements around her -- later days

I love the sexy undertones balanced with the curious, almost playful manner in which she seems to be expressing herself. The way her hair manifests really adds to the sense she is no mere mortal.
Beautiful work.

I really like how your art these days has a lot of realistic detail to them, but still maintains a very animated style at the same time. Good show, Nicc!

Yup I wouldn't wanna be too close to photorealism. I still wanna keep the cartoony look intact.
Thanks, Ike! Glad you like my new stuff.
