Description
I'm working on an animation for an application to a university of applied sciences, and this is a wip view of an establishing shot that will be used (multi-layer parallax scrolling). Well, I'm not very far yet, but I felt like I had to post something again after such a long time of absence
Yes, there is some cheating going on with alpha-transparency, but frankly, I don't care

Mmm -- so far so good -- all quite juicy with plenty of detail to munch on for us. Heck of a scene -- awesome, awesome -- I hope that you'll show off the animation to us if it gets completed. I'd love to put my peepers on it.

Subtle shading on the tree trunk in the foreground, complemented by the glow being reflected on the surface. Lots of detail and texturing. Overall, a terrific job done.

it is pretty dark dude - hard to see much of the details. But I like what I do see

Ooh, I really love the front layer of this. You've done a great job with the shading, lighting, color choices and everything like that.
What bothers me though, is that the background layers feel a bit dull comparing to the front one. I think there's something about the contrasts in the shading. Not enough contrast.

The trees and the second light source are very sexy! I'm not so fond of these light things and the path there looks a bit... strange (if it is a path). All in all this one has a nice feeling of depth and the lights/shadow is very cool!

The texture on that tree trunk gives me tickly feelings in my pants. I am loving the style - reminds me of world of warcraft - PIXELLIZED. Awesome stuff - can't wait to see more.
