Kelsey, I've got a question here. The image is great, really pushes the envelope and creates an alien setting incredibly well, but how can you do that? You've pretty much used all the primary and secondaries (Colour), so why doesn't this clash? Or maybe it does clash- so the alien feel is from the twist and distortion of the eye? I don't want to go into too much detail, because I'm just enjoying looking at all your old stuff, so just..."hot damn" will do.

You know, it reminds me of the anime series Gurren Lagann that started just recently. It has amazing graphics and crazy use of colour. (I'm quite addicted to it at the moment.)

I'm a huge Hiroyuki Imaishi fan. I've been pushing my stuff more and more in that direction ever since Dead Leaves. I got to see the first 4 episodes of Gurren Lagann and they are great, but I don't have subs. I have no idea what's going on.

I've heard about Dead Leaves OVA but sadly I couldn't find it anywhere..

I started with a quick color sketch and then over the next week, recreated the sketch into something less interesting.

Thanks yall! I worked really hard to get those colors to gel. I wanted it to look alien and western at the same time. It's a fine line. My Marshal Bravestar training came in handy!
