Description (Don't worry, it's fictional. Maybe.)

We resume our story with Stephen presently being occupied in Mexico and being employed as a shoe-shiner. Unbeknownst to him, but knownst to the rest of us, Katherine was frantically searching for her adventuring friend.
Shortly after abandoning Stephen in Japan, Katherine began to question her decision to leave him. “Nonsense!” she told herself, “He deserves to stay there; the nerve of him making me wait!” Later on though, she began to sadden, for she missed having someone to explore the world on dragon-back with. Resolving to return to Japan and retrieve him, she commanded the dragon to use all haste and return to Japan. During this time, Stephen was boarding the U.S.S. Chris Co. en route to his own torture by being constantly surrounded by sixteen Dianas. For Katherine, the journey back to Japan went smoothly until she reached the coast. As she began to see the shoreline, she noticed the wind beginning to pick up. Before she knew it, she was struggling to control the dragon that was rapidly descending through the clouds and closer to the ocean. “Up! Up!” she cried, trying desperately to regain altitude. Realizing that she was going to crash, she closed her eyes and braced for impact.
[1] Nothing happened. When she finally opened her eyes, she was completely dumbfounded at where she was, and more importantly, what she was doing. She was riding a yellow motorcycle through downtown Tokyo wearing a yellow “Crane” jumpsuit and carrying a katana with a dog engraved on the blade. “Holy crap,” she muttered knowing instantly where she was going and what she was going to do. Realizing that she was no longer Katherine but The Bride, she revved the engine of the motorcycle and sped off toward the restaurant.
Upon entering, she immediately noticed her adversary, the infamous O-Ren Ishii. Without speaking, O-Ren motioned to her henchmen who sprung over the railing brandishing their katanas. The first opponent of many stepped forward, a maniacal grin stretched across his face. Without hesitation, he lunged forward with a slicing motion aimed at her head. Swiftly and gracefully, she raised her katana and blocked his attack inches from her face. With a stupefied look on his face, she shoved him back and stabbed her sword through his gut. Blood flowed, splattering her jumpsuit. The rest of the henchmen stood there for a second stunned; then all of them rushed forward in a brutal blitzkrieg. She sidestepped each one in turn and severed a limb from each one of them. When she had finished, she cleaned her sword with a flicking motion of her wrist, and looked up at O-Ren Ishii who replied, “Did you think it would be that easy?” Pausing a moment, Katherine answered, “For a moment there? Yeah. I think I did.”
Suddenly, a large crash sounded behind her, as a group she instantly recognized as the Crazy 88’s entered. There was a long pause where she could hear her heart beating frantically as her pulse raged. Then, after an awkward silence, everything broke loose. The Crazy 88’s charged at her in groups of fours and fives, which would then surround her. Using skills that she never knew she possessed, let alone ever used, she dispatched her attackers. Of all of the Crazy 88’s, the one she remembered with startling clarity was the bald man with the black mask. They engaged for what seemed like hours, until finally she made a slicing maneuver completely cutting through his katana as well as his arm. He howled and fell to the floor staring wide-eyed at her…
After completely defeating the Crazy 88’s, she yelled out a proclamation, “For those of you lucky enough to escape with your lives, take them; but leave your limbs, for they now belong to me.” After a stunning silence, those still alive scrambled out of the restaurant leaving O-Ren and Katherine the Bride alone. At this point, Katherine was extremely confused, but at the same time knew exactly what to do. She followed O-Ren out into the garden where they took their places. They stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity, O-Ren in her white kimono, and Katherine in her yellow jumpsuit.
They both attacked at the same time, meeting at the center of the garden. They grappled for a moment, testing each other’s strength, before pulling apart. They kept trading blows back and forth until the time came when O-Ren made her final charge. She made an exceptionally speedy sprint directly at Katherine, however at the last second Katherine stepped away and struck the killing blow. O-Ren mumbled a few undecipherable words, and died. Katherine fell to the ground in exhaustion and blacked out. [/ 1]
When she awoke, Katherine realized she was on the Japanese shoreline next to her water-dragon friend. Apparently they had survived the storm and had washed up on the beach during the night. “That was one weird dream,” she thought, “but it felt so real; I could’ve sworn I was right there…” however her rational side prevailed, and she dismissed the thought. “I thought those shrimp tasted funny,” she remarked to no one in particular. While she was thinking about all of this, she remembered why she came back. Her main concern now was finding Stephen, however she had no idea how much time had passed while she was unconscious, so he was probably no longer where she had left him. Surprisingly, she had washed up extremely close to where she had departed, so she set out immediately to find her friend.
As she suspected, Stephen was nowhere to be found. She questioned the restaurant owner if he had seen him. The owner replied that he had seen someone get on a boat off the coast late last night. He remarked that the figure appeared to be rather tall, be wearing baggy jeans, and have a crazy hairstyle. He also mentioned something about turtles, but she wasn’t paying attention. “That’s got to be him,” Katherine muttered, thanking the owner and exiting the restaurant. “Well,” she said, “I know that he left last night on a ship…” Then she remembered the owner saying something about turtles helping move the boat back into the water. “Hmmm…” she thought, “there’s only one person I know who uses turtles, and that’s Chris Woolley!”
So, she immediately set off on her dragon to find Stephen. Now, her dragon was really fatigued, and she had to keep taking many rest stops just so it would keep going. The going was slow, but she finally spotted a boat with U.S.S. Chris Co. written on the side. She touched down in the water (her dragon could swim, after all it was a water dragon) and hopped aboard the ship.
What astonished her when she stepped aboard was the massive amount of Dianas on board. “Chris?!” she called frantically not wanting to hang around Diana more than she had to. Finally he appeared, surrounded by yet more Dianas. “Hello, Katherine!” said Chris, “How are you this fine day?” “Great until I stepped on here,” she replied. “By the way, have you seen Stephen?” [2]Looking puzzled, Chris replied, “Stephen…Stephen…OH! You mean Jaberg… I left him off the coast of Mexico about two days ago. Said something about finding a coastal city and trying to get back to the states.”[/ 2] “Thank you,” Katherine replied, “I guess I’ll be leaving now…” “Wait a minute!” Chris interjected, “Why don’t you stay here and hang out with Diana and me for a while?” “I’m sorry, but I really have to go…” replied Katherine trying to sound as apologetic as possible as she ran quickly and jumped off the deck and on to her dragon.
Arriving on the coast of Mexico, (there was only one major city in a 50 mile radius) Katherine began to search for Stephen. She remembered Chris saying that Stephen was going to try to get back to the states, so she figured he would try to fly. Well, when Stephen couldn’t book a flight (he lacked money and an up-to-date passport) he stayed at the airport and shined shoes for travelers, and that’s where Katherine found him. “Stephen!” she cried as she ran to see him. He was glad to see her of course (who wouldn’t be glad to see Katherine?), and they left the airport and flew back to the lake where Katherine was staying and relaxed while they planned their next adventure.

To be continued…

[1] There are only a few notes for this segment, however this one is more of a disclaimer than a note. At the time when I wrote this, I had just watched Kill Bill Volume 1, and since it was (and still is) one of Katherine’s favorite movies, I decided to paraphrase the climactic battle scene at the end of the movie. Since we (~AMatchFor10000 and myself (~RockinSteady)) are not writing this story for any form of profit, only for personal enjoyment, I do not believe that there is any copyright infringement. However: *All character names (except for Katherine’s) and events in this section are reserved for the writers, producers, and directors etc… who are affiliated with the movie.* If any high-ranking official has a problem with it, they can let me know, because as I said there is no profit being made here.
[2] Anyway, this second note is actually a note. Back in sixth grade, Chris came up with the nickname Jaberg, and has been calling me that ever since. The strange thing is, most people only know me by that name now rather than my real name. There are a few people however who still call me by me real name, giving it more significance.

Ya know, shrimp are considered opiates. Best part in Kill Bill 1 was the anime part ^^ And I finally know now from where Katherine got that song she was always whistling. I like the nickname Jabbers rather than Jaberg... Do you suppose there is anyone who does not know your first name? If I were stranded on Japan with no way to get back, definitely would become a shoe shiner-- good choice. Those Japanese and their shoes, gosh.
