I had the sketch of just Jareths face sitting in my sketchbook for like two years before I doodled in Sarah and then the backgrounds.

And then that sat for months until I decided to add some color.

And then it sat for some more months Until I pulled the sketchbook out of storage and scanned it in and gave it a sort of background.
