Description
One aspect of my art style that I feel has benefitted from a switch to digital is how geometric it is. I like using simple shapes to draw characters, since it makes my style distinct and makes the characters easier to draw, especially for how often I do so. Switching to digital was a good start, but switching to CSP, which allows me to use smoother lines and more shapes, has brought it closer to its best look.I thought I'd draw Beta and James discussing Beta's shape. Beta is a pumpkin, hence why he's orange and has a green stem on his cranium. However, most pumpkins have a shape that's more of a cross between a torus and a cylinder, whereas Beta is a near-perfect sphere. James has brought it up, since he finds it to be yet another thing about Beta that makes him different from the other pumpkin people. Beta never noticed this before.
