Description

Been meaning to do this for a good while now, but struggled to find time to do it, so here we go!

Remember the time I uploaded the GGC's female classmates last year? Well, now this time, it's the guys' turn! The boys are also greasers (mainly middle-class, with a few of them being poor-class), so we're going to take a further look into these boys, and meet them up close. Sound good? ^_^

The 3rd guy up is Osamu Kawakami, the Wizard of Cards. He was born on September 13, 1998 (09/13/1998), and is a Virgo. Osamu lives with his adoptive father, Nobuyuki Hino, in his Japanese-styled American home built in North Raleigh, North Carolina. Osamu is originally from Kyushu, the 3rd-largest island in Japan, though he moved a lot during his early years in Japan, until he moved to the USA at age 13 (due to his adoptive father's work). Osamu was the youngest of 6 children in his family, with his 5 older siblings being; his only sister Chihiro (born 1985-died 2005), oldest brother Takehiro (born 1990-died 2005), 2nd oldest brother Ritsu (born 1992-died 2005), 3rd oldest brother Katashi (born 1994), and 4th oldest brother Isamu (born 1996), and their parents being Ryūji (born 1960-died 2005) and Rei (born 1963-died 2005).

Osamu is similar to Jacob in a way; realistic, mean-spirited and arrogant, though he's also known to be extremely petty, strict and harsh, while also known to be "a man who rarely speaks", and isn't afraid to voice his thoughts (despite how cruel his words are). Of his friends, he seems to be one of the mature members, and although he really isn't into fighting like Jacob, Osamu isn't afraid of fighting when it's absolutely necessary. Osamu loves to pick on people like Jeffery and Max, and while he doesn't like to pull pranks on women (like Jacob and a few of their friends do), he has participated in such cruel activities on their female classmates, such as a time where he and his group scared the girls during class by surprising them with a cage full of mice that they collected outside the night before, when the teacher was away for a few minutes. However, outside of his nasty nature, Osamu is a very smart student; he's usually one of the first people done with his homework, quizzes and tests, and isn't afraid to give examples on questions his teachers would ask him (despite how some of his answers would disturb them). Osamu is also known to be a great cook, and can't stand the cafeteria food served at Menora, so he would always be the first one to offer to make lunch, dinner, any course of the day and night, without hesitation and never gets tired of it nor trying new things.

There is a reason as to why Osamu acts the way he does in the present-day; his past. In his childhood, Osamu grew up in the countryside of Kyushu, namely Yufuin, in the Oita Prefecture, where his family owned a large shrine in the Kawakami family name, but the land that the shrine was built (7 years before Osamu was born, in 1992) on was haunted; it belonged to a Yokai-like creature (the monster would be inspired after both the Rokurokubi & the Jorōgumo, both from Japanese folklore, but would also be a man-eating Yokai), and while the shrine was being built, the creature didn't take the construction very lightly, so the family ended up trying to make peace with her, so that both parties could live together in peace. Despite the family's requests (alongside the parents planning to choose one of their children to be the sacrifice offering for the Yokai), however, the Yokai planned to devour the family in the years to come. Over the years, the parents had trouble trying to choose which child in their family they wanted to sacrifice; originally, they wanted their only daughter, Chihiro, to be the sacrifice, but the Yokai wasn't impressed with her, and was only interested in males. Not pleased with either of the sons, the Yokai suggested on having another child, and eventually, Osamu was born. Shortly after his birth, the Yokai was very happy and the parents chose him as the sacrifice. Of the family members, Chihiro was the only member of the family who actually cared about Osamu, and was very protective of him, so she did whatever she could to help her baby brother from the time he was born until he was 7 (hence why Osamu considered to this day, that Chihiro was the only female in his childhood that he loved and cared about, and appreciated his big sister). The plan was to have Osamu be eaten on his 13th birthday by the monster, but by the time Osamu turned 7, the creature grew restless and hungry, and the situation escalated. That very night, the family was cornered by the Yokai the moment the ceremony would begin, but instead of eating Osamu, the Yokai began to devour the parents first, followed by Takehiro, Ritsu, and then finally, Chihiro, when she got out of the shrine lastly. Katashi and Isamu managed to escape far away, while Osamu barely got away from the Yokai, until he was saved by his future adoptive father, Nobuyuki, who swiftly defeated the Yokai. Seeing that Osamu had no where to go (and having witnessed the incident while on his way home from going on a walk), the man decided to take in the child and raise him (before Osamu came into his life, Nobuyuki never had children or got married, yet always wanted to raise a child of his own).

Upon leaving the toxic grounds of his family shrine with his new adoptive father, Osamu left Yufuin, and the duo moved to Kitakyushu, then Tokyo, and then finally moving to the USA. Since being adopted, Osamu finally started to come out of his shell little by little, but was still very traumatized by what he went through with his family's shit and the Yokai herself, and in the early days of living in America, he awakened his powers on accident when he got frustrated on a game of Hanafuda with Nobuyuki, which resulted in Nobuyuki deciding to send Osamu to Menora, upon learning that there was a magic school that could help the young man with his newfound magic. Having never been to school, it was a little scary for Osamu, but he wasn't afraid to take a chance and accepted on going to the boarding school. Jacob was his first friend, upon meeting him on the school grounds, and Jacob surprisingly took Osamu under his wings and showed him to his buddies that the blond went to school with in the past. Despite being a quick learner and quickly learning English, Osamu rarely talks unless otherwise (which would make people believe that he's shy, which was false), so he usually lets Jacob and their pals do the talking. Like his friends, Osamu wasn't impressed with the Greaser Girls Club upon meeting them alongside the other female classmates, though he has an interest in one of the girl students in their homeroom class, yet surprisingly, no one but him knows...

Osamu's theme colors are hunter-green (primary), olive-green (secondary) and black (third). His favorite foods are fugu sashimi, sushi, and matcha streusel. Osamu has pale-light skin, black shaggy-like straight hair that reaches to his shoulders with messy bangs that he either lets them cover his eyes or moves them away a bit (so that he can see) and black eyes, while his height is 5 foot 7. Unlike a lot of kids in his class, Osamu has a mole on his face, locating close to his lips, and he tends to wear earring studs (something he shares with fellow pal Jacob). As for music, Osamu loves Japanese heavy metal and hard rock music, with his favorite bands being Maximum the Hormone and Anthem, though thank to one of Anthem's albums, Heavy Metal Anthem, he begins to explore metal and hard rock bands outside of Japan, such as Metallica, System of a Down, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, and even Slayer. He dreams of being a music producer and joining Jacob in a dream of forming a famous heavy metal band (Osamu aims to be not just a producer, but as a bassist, songwriter, and even background vocals)...

As for my choice of voice actors for Osamu, he would be voiced by Khoi Dao (who played Murata in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Herb Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom & Albedo in Genshin Impact), Kensho Ono (who played Giorno Giovanna in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 : Golden Wind, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa in Bungo Stray Dogs, and Yuri Briar in Spy x Family), and Vito Ventura (who voiced Hashirama Senju in Naruto, Sabo in One Piece & Sonny Wright in Inazuma Eleven: Ares)

That's all for Osamu! I will update this page one day, once I come up with more info, but until then, enjoy! ~ Mary
