this is a tutorial to make your own sweet slowpoke plush!DO NOT use this pattern or tutorial i made to make a profit. if you do make one please do not claim as your own. credit me in the information below and add a link to this tutorial. this will help everyone find it so they can make there own!

i hope you all like it, this took me forever to put this one together. i am planing on making more tutorial because i would love there to be more plushie makers out there and i would like to support those who are starting.

do you live near local fabric stores? if you do i would suggest looking first at those stores some times they have fleece or cuddle fabrics. if not i suggest joann fabrics online or if you live near a joanns store that is really good. but if not www.joann.com/anti-pill-fleece… i started with anti pill fleece, but shipping can get to be a bit much though. also minky is what i work with now, theminkyboutique.com/cart/mink… i get smooth minky, from this site. when fleece is not 1/2 off it is around the same price. but with the minky site you can order 1/2 yards, but on joanns they only allow full yards.
these are the sites i use, but you still might want to look around if those prices don't fit ^w^

This is a great tutorial, thank you so much for putting this up! I do have a question, though, I hope this wasn't asked already because I didn't see any comments asking it. What sort of method did you use to sew the head to the body? I've been just getting into making plushies, and this is something I've struggled with a bit because I can't seem to find a really secure way to do it. Do you have any tips?

i am glad the tutorial was helpful and yes i guess i did leave out some steps that would really help beginners i am sorry. to make it up i went and found a tutorial i think would really help you www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPy9au… . this is how i attach the head, tail, and ears of the plush. it is a very helpful technique! if you need more help just ask ^w^

This is such a simple and easy to follow tutorials! I've never thought of doing the ears or mouth that way, very clever!
I'd really love to try this but I have to wait until school isn't as busy.
Is there any reason you did not include the white tip on the tail?

And I have slowed down plush making since of school too.
And after I submitted it I realized I totally forgot about the tip of the tail TnT my bad.

i would make almost an oval shape for the head then sew on the different colored details.

um... i don't suppose you happen to know what sorts of shapes i would need to cut the fabric into to make that shape?? this is my first time trying to make a plush without a pre-made pattern
