I'm a BIG fan of Mass Effect. So much so that I played my PS3 to death...literally.

Anyway, this is my Commander Shepard, Elaine. I wanted to draw her during the period of her reconstruction. When I first saw that I shivered.

I despise needles and medical-related pointy things.

Here is some information on her:

-Earthborn
-Sole Survivor
-Infiltrator
-Lv 30
-Preferred Weapon(s): Any Sniper Rifle
-Preferred Biotic(s): Slam
-Preferred Tech Power(s): Tactical Cloak, Incinerate and AI Hacking

She’s 90% Paragon but won’t hesitate to do something…controversial…to get things done. She actually prefers to talk things through.

Elaine is in a healthy relationship with Liara T’Soni and as been since ME1. She deeply cares for her and would not do anything that would displease her (during one mission, she was contemplating on destroying a priceless artifact to shut the target up but decided not do because she knew Liara would disapprove).

Elaine has a Space Hamster for a pet (Dr. Chakwas idea) and she named him Pip (she did have an aquarium filled with fish once but they die quite frequently much to Kelly Chambers displeasure).

I have to say that I prefer Femshep. It's not everyday where I can play as a female character in a very emotional, deep, complex and engaging series (although Male Shepard with Tali is too damn ADORABLE!). I usually play as the Default Femshep because she looks average. She isn't sexy nor ugly.

She's just a normal woman and that's the way I like it.

I was so upset when Bioware decided to have a contest to decide on Femshep's new default appearance. She was fine the way she was. Now the new Femshep is sexualized and ugly.

Gotta give them credit though. It's a start. They took a step that most gaming companies wouldn't take and that's what I did like.
