DIary Entry #34

It's been about 7 months since I was arrested and moved to the MDCF. I haven't met many people since I have been here. I mean I was in the C-block in this shit hole. And I couldn't do much there as it would seem. Apart from reading. And do the chain gang off course. But luckily after some good behavior (nothing to get me out a whole life sentence) I was able to become a trustee. I'm still shackled up alot and in these horrible uniforms but it means they trust me alot more now. Which I thought they would never do for me. Considering that I was a criminal who had been arrested two times before and now was in prison at the age of 21. But I'm guessing it was my final crime that boosted me up to life in prison. But now I am lucky enough to be here. My cell is much nicer. I am finally allowed some books and finally socks and shoes ! God, I have missed them since I was arrested. And I'm allowed crocs ! God, maybe prison isn't too bad. I mean I wouldn't have been sent to Block B since that's where all the aliens and stuff live. Haven't seen them yet but have heard from passers by. Block-a has been pretty nice. I mean I still work in the chain gang on some days and I see the other inmates who were in block c but still. But I have asked to be allowed some work at the library. I heard that one other inmate works there. Seems to be a little bit of a nerd but I mean, I do love some books and talking about tv shows. It's better than talking about prison on the most part. I'm also lucky to have only really broken rocks and mopping the floor. But annoying that I only do that since they are running short on inmates from block C and now they offered me to be brought down to here but work or stay in Block C and do fuck all. I’m quite happy working with boots and socks rather than walking around in my cell barefoot.

Back when I was in the last block I was on my own and had a much smaller cell. With like one bed and a toilet. It was like nothing compared to this. I mean sure I have to share it but it isn’t too bad. She’s nice. Apart from murdering her sister since she hooked up with her boyfriend but that’s her only con.I think she likes to make bracelets in her spare time.

Back when I was in my old cell block I met a girl called Alex after being forced to work with her. I felt awkward since we didn’t talk until we were all getting rushed on the bus to get back to the prison. I wrote about this in my diary entry 7. I don’t write here that much. Anyway After I started talking to her she seemed really nice ! We tried to get work with each other the past few months. Hope she isn’t too mad that I moved to block A while she’s doing a long time in block C. It’s my first time doing the chain gang in block A today and I hope I don’t fuck it up with her. I know I would be abit pissed if Someone I knew and liked who used ti work with me moved to somewhere else or got a better job and got paid better and also got benefits while I worked my ass off unlike anyone else. I’ll try and talk to her when I can.

I should rap up now. I can hear the guards rushing us to be ready with our doc martens on and ready to be chained, and walk to the bus. I’ll need it here and write up what happens later on.
