Description
A Kingdom Hearts anime? I wish. If there was one, this is what I imagine it to look like.Can you hear me, Disney/Squeenix? I shake my fist at you. An OAV/OVA would be acceptable, too...
I used a game screencap for reference (from the ending). I redrew it for an anime-style and cel-shaded look. I did one of Sora too, but it isn't quite to par so I'll leave it off - I'll probably dump it into my scraps later. (Edit: Sorry Sora! )
(Edit2: how-to screenshot mimic tutorial/guide thing I made.) - just the step by step coloring process, really.

Reminds me of last order. I wonder if you had that in mind at all when drawing either this or the sora one? It's beautifully done, get some buddies on it and im sure you guys could get a flash anime on here in no time.

Aw, man. This is great. You really captured the atmospheric feeling from the game.
Unfortunately, if there were a Kingdom Hearts anime, it would, doubtlessly, suffer from a variety of drawbacks if it were to be interpreted into a full-length series. The story's so extensive that the typical 26 episodes to cover all three games wouldn't cut it. So they'd try to add more episodes, and then the animation quality might go down, etc. etc. etc.
Now, if it were sort of an abbreviated OVA/OAV, like Tales of Phantasia... that would probably be the best way to take it.
But, alas, I digress greatly. The fact is, this is quite an excellent picture. Well worth the

Yup, photoshop! The bright effect is a separate layer with a blue-ish gradient (coming from the top left to right), and I set the layer on "linear light", so it gives that effect.

This is really convincing! I like what you did with the lighting - and it'd be pretty cool if they DID do an anime of KH, but I kind of doubt anyone would be able to get the money up to pay the royalties on it, unless it was funded in part by Disney.

BUT sadly because it has an attachment to Disney--it could never show it's true greatness without boundries.
