story - Born together into a small pride in a small territory, their parents doted and loved them wholeheartedly. Sadly, due to a bout of illness, their already small pride dwindled to just the 2 young sisters and their parents who had just learned a new addition to the family was on the way. Thankfully, the pair were now young teens and able to take on some of the burden of hunting for the family. Soon, a healthy baby boy was welcomed into their world and immediately adored by his elder sisters, and all was perfect for the family...... for a time. Shortly before the sisters reached young adulthood, an older battle scarred male rogue arrived in their small territory. Sadly, this was the beginning of the end of happiness for the family. The stranger told his name was Kibaya and spun the now older couple a heartbreaking story of exile and suffered wandering alone and aimlessly hoping to find a new home to be welcomed. The kind pair accepted the strange males story and gladly welcomed him into their family pride telling their children it would be good to have an extra set of paws to help keep everyone safe as their father was becoming older and soon not as well able to guard their home. Though the girls were wary of the scarred male, they trusted their parents' judgment. If they only knew what this male had planned for them, they might have begged their father to chase him off instead. After a season passed the family had adjusted to having an extra male to protect themselves and the siblings had all grown nicely the sisters now adults and their brother becoming a young teen this was when their happy world ended. Kibaya had gone on a border patrol with the older male as he often did having earned the males trust and brutally attacked and killed him returning to the family still with fresh blood on his lips and delivering his threat to accept him as the new leader or join their loved father and mate in death. The choice was painful but clear, and so he took control, and the suffering began. Not long after the takeover the brute staged a "hunting accident " for the old lioness as he knew he would never be able to have the sisters while their mother was around protecting them and their brother who was also a threat. Once the mother was gone, there was nothing left protecting them, and shortly after, Kibaya ended the young male leaving the sisters alone and at his mercy. Udhaifu quickly fell pregnant and birthed 2 cubs for the tyrant, a strong, healthy female and a large male soon after named Kanzima and Inkani, even though they came from a horrid act Udhaifu loved her children while her "loving mate" could care less. Although she had given him 2 strong healthy cubs rather quickly, Kibaya soon set his sights on the other sister who was weaker mentally and physically, and she was defenseless to help her beloved sister. Unfortunately, Epholile was not strong enough and suffered a difficult labor delivering 3 thankfully healthy cubs, 2 sons, and a daughter but while the cubs were well the mother was not Epholile lost too much blood and without the aide of a shaman or healer she faded quickly and with the promise her children would be well cared for by her sister Epholile died without naming her children. Although devastated by the loss of her only surviving family, Udhaifu named her nephews Kubanda and Ebolile and her niece Ukatili raising them along with her own children the best she could. Time passed, and cubs grew along with the violence and abuse she endured by not only her mate but her own children as well. Kibaya trained his cubs to be just as aggressive as he himself and often incouraged them to abuse her verbally or physically. In a last-ditch effort, Udhaifu confronted Kibaya for the way he acted. Sadly, this would be her last action in life. Kibaya snarled in pure rage at her "disrespect." Her final sight was her own blood dripping from his jaws and his hateful glare.

HOLY CROW!!!!! My first double character post and longest story these 2 unfortunate ladies took me two days to draw and a lot of thought for their story. I am so friggin proud of how they turned out and can't wait to hear what you think of them. Shout out to Rainorld for the reference pages they shared they were a massive help thank you so much.
