Four of about twenty Matsuri pencil sketches I did while on the train home today quickly colored in Photoshop. I like her character for a few different reasons. First, I like to root for good filler characters a lot. In part 1 of Naruto it's noteworthy that she dresses exactly like an American Apparel hipster. She's kind of a mousy awkward plain-jane, but is obviously a secret freak with baggage and a taste for strange men. in my mind, I like my Matsuri to secretly have a bit of a trampy side to her.
