My personal favorite of a series of outdoor drawings I did in a similar fashion yesterday. You're probably looking at this and wondering, "Wtf am I looking at? This is just a bunch of lines! It's not ~*~REALISTIC~*~ enough! Abstract nonsense, degenerate art, modernism, etc etc etc!!!" Just kidding, you're probably not actually thinking that, but in the off-chance that you are I'll try to give you the best answer I can muster up. I'm trying to do a couple things here:

-Sift through all of the "white noise" inherent to nature in order to "extract" an effective composition from within

-Express form and space (things being in front of or behind other things in the picture plane) using as few lines as possibly can. This is so that I don't get into the business of fussing around with details and the like, which can potentially ruin the composition.
