a collage i did a couple years ago...made from old national geographics...the tagline comes from an ad showing a beautifully clear cityscape and down below it said: "Come see sunny Los Angeles! Where even the skylines are different!"
the rest comes from a pervasive need to show whitey in his comfortable ego-trip glory throughout the magazines, which apparently life was like...ah ignorance...
and pastel cars?
personal favorite is the white family wearing white clothes with the kid in a white American Indian get-up. we conquer and then we mock and assimilate.
really it wasn't supposed to be this cynical..life is weird for me right now...probably best if you ignore this rant.
