Some backstory on the title of this image. I travelled to South Carolina for the total solar eclipse on August 21st (to be in the path of totality), and got clean shots of every stage of the eclipse up until 10 minutes before totality when a huge thunderstorm rolled in. It was disappointing to miss the main event so to speak, but I figured I'd share one of the more interesting images I captured of the earlier stages. Nothing spectacular, but a nice memory of a fun adventure. Better luck next time...
