Description
This is the second set of characters for the Dendyn Dynasties spinoff, Dendyn Futures.

This particular group are the villains of the story, collectively known as "Bluefringe", an organization of rebels founded by an unseen leader, who wish to overthrow the Dynasty league and turn it from a democracy into a monarchy. Since such a social system hasn't existed for centuries, it would be really annoying to have to change the rules again if the Bluefringe have their way. What's more, the Bluefringe's leadership consists mainly of supernatural freaks and rogue warriors. If this team isn't hunted down and dealt with quickly, the peace of the world of Dendyn could get thrown completely out the window. The Bluefringe seem to favor those who have unusual powers, calling them "The divine."
They believe that the masses should be ruled by the extraordinary, and that only those with true power should be in a position to be leaders. While the Bluefringe always tries to recruit members, certain occult powers within the group are capable of spawning highly expendable "dummies" that can act as minions in dire situations.

Leiro: (Holding a huge axe) The main antagonist of the story. Leiro was born with an abnormal blue fur coat and strange eyes. He was immediately taken by the Dynasty League secret forces and raised in almost complete captivity. When little white wings appeared over his back, he underwent many painful tests and experiments, all of them with no result other than that his muscles were capable of lifting weight that was physically impossible for their mass. At around 13 years of age, he was abducted by the Bluefringe, who deemed him to be the chosen one because of his appearance. Leiro grew up to become the most powerful fighter in the Bluefringe army, and leader of the team of generals known as the "Mighty 5".
Leiro is extremely talented in both Mech and ground combat. His Mech, the "White Ash" is a sleek, adaptable fighting machine. However, Leiro actually prefers to combat Mechs by himself. His axe-like weapon is actually the hilt of a giant laser sword, (the affectionately named "Mec Rekka") that he crafted himself. Having the strength to wield it deftly, Leiro on his own is a match for all but the largest of Mechs. The battery of the Mec Rekka runs out quickly though, so he rarely uses it to fight hand-to hand. Even so, the hilt on its own is still a crushing weapon. Leiro has a cool, calculating nature, generally with sly, sarcastic undertones. Even in battle, he's quite formal and cold. However, he seems to change completely when around people he considers to be "family." He never seems to lose his temper with the other members of the Mighty 5, and has a genuine interest in their personal lives. He's Cyrus's main challenge on the battlefield.

Mist: (to the right of Leiro) A quiet young girl who has control of a strong telekinetic power. She can move objects with her mind as long as they remain in their sight, and can also cause a living creature harsh physical distress so long as she can see their eyes or hear their voice. Because this power also works through communicators and telephones, she's a very feared Mech pilot. While her Mech, the "Arc Ultimate" isn't exactly the strongest machine, it serves its purpose while she's torturing the enemy pilot or messing with their controls. Because of this ability, the royal guard are always trying to find ways around her powers so she can be dueled effectively each time. Sunglasses and voice filters are fairly effective, but don't cover all the tricks that Mist has up her sleeves, including an array of miniature mobile cameras that she can use to "infect" the enemy mech and view the foe's cockpit. Hand to hand, Mist doesn't know how to fight with anything other than her powers. For this reason, she has mastered several arts of escape should the need ever arise. Mist prefers not to talk to the other members of the Mighty 5. Sometimes it even seems that she isn't entirely happy with herself or her alignment. Leiro often says that he would very much like to see her smile just once. As well as her powers, Mist also has amazingly strong luck...

Brawlhammer: (the big robot) Brawlhammer was once a very lonely little girl who was often left alone due to her parents being in the royal army. Her caretakers during this time were all automated nurse robots. Because of this, she began to wish that she was also a machine so she could be like her "friends". After a horrific accident when a war machine went AWOL, The girl's house was destroyed entirely by its laser, obliterating her entirely. However, it seemed that somehow her soul transferred to the robot, creating the first sentient machine in the existence of Dendyn. Despite its appearance, Brawlhammer is childish and naive, believing that the Bluefringe are "good" and all other people are "bad." The immense firepower that the robot packs is enough for it to be considered a member of the Mighty 5.

Candy: (Goth chick) Candy joined the Bluefringe because she was such a non-conformist, and eventually non-conformed her way up into the Mighty 5. She is 75% psycho and categorizes things by the sound they make when you cut or slice them. She's also a vampire, a voodoo user and has haunted several ghosts against their will. Candy doesn't pilot any Mechs, but her vampire abilities make her good as an espionage agent/spy. Her pet spirit, Lawce, grudgingly helps her perform her trickery, as well as doubling as an extra powerful voodoo doll when needed. Personality wise, Candy is loud and a little crazy by default, but she's also a hopeless romantic, falling head over heels for "bad" boys especially. She has a huge crush on Heath, even though she knows he doesn't go for inter-species dating. (which is a big taboo for someone who's not a non-conformist like her.) In battle, she uses a large cleaving blade that resembles a razor attached to a chain on her foot.

Arsenal: (gas mask) Nobody really knows anything about him or what he really looks like under the gas mask. Oddly enough, he's very talkative and social, even though her refuses to ever remove his armor and mask when around others. Arsenal is a user of inherent Ninja magic, something that hasn't been seen for centuries. Like Candy, he's an operative rather than a pilot. Arsenal joined the Bluefringe because he honestly believes their motifs make sense. Oddly, he's incredibly squeamish and can't stand to look at damage numbers. It's a joke amongst his peers that if he ever sees a 9999 he'll faint out cold. True to his name, Arsenal's suit contains a vast array of hidden weapons.

Heath: (furthest right) Heath considers himself to be the most "heroic" member of Bluefringe. Complete with a manly scar over his left eye (Self-inflicted) and an blindingly arrogant attitude, he's self-absorbed, crude and highly competitive. While he's not working on his Mech, the "Crimson Gear Steel Dra Warrior", he can usually be found training in front of a mirror or breaking valuable equipment. Heath treats anyone of lesser rank than him as an object, and is prone to sudden unprovoked acts of savagery. He also has a range of cheesy one-liners to annoy his peers with, and is never seen wearing anything other than his personalized flying gear. In combat, he's fast, smooth and strong, using a whip-like weapon called a 'hot wire'. It's a chain of small electric nodes along a cable. By pressing a button on the handle, the cable can be stiffened, allowing for great control and power behind the whip. On contact, the nodes also release electricity, making it an effective weapon. Despite being an A-grade douche, he's surprisingly good with the ladies, and it's even rumored that he might be dating a pop star...
Heath's abilities are still undefined, even amongst the mighty five. Whatever they are, though, they're powerful enough to put him as the second most feared physical fighter after Leiro.

Well that's all the important characters out of the way. There are still some supports who I might draw later, but at the moment, what I've done on the animation's looking pretty good. The mechs are definitely more complex to animate, but not as troublesome as I originally thought.
