A few friends and family were in town and decided to meet up at a sidewalk cafΓ©, on a breezy Boston morning. A boutique manager. A graduate student and junior columnist. An entrepreneur. An up-and-coming artist. Some have business to attend to and can't stay for long. Other's need not worry about tardiness and just came downstairs in their pajamas. Everyone however are glad to see each other.D's design inspired by [link] 's piece
(ok already, I know Trent would never be like that. I just wanted to get that image outa my head.)

Damn right, Trent would never be like that-he can barely get it up to tour or record.
Daria, on the other hand, is probably doing something college related with her life, or working as a researcher for a left-wing leaning organization, or even (gasp!) working for the Obama administration!
Jane is a semi-successful artist who's had ho haul ass to get ass recognized as an artist, unlike her slacker brother. She most likely lives in a old building in an area that's got a ton of artists in it, and must work a job of some kind to afford her stuff.
And Quinn? Well, I'd guess that works for a fashion magazine (no guess there). Or like her sister, maybe she found a better profession away from the influence of those stupid assholes in the 'Fashion Club' (I'm talking about Tiffany and Sandy, not Stacy, who I think is too good to be with those idiots and should have left them years ago, like Quinn should) like maybe something similar to what her sister is doing (I hope.)
As to the art-I love it, and I especially love the way you've drawn both Daria and Jane-finally, they're both showing a bit of bare ankle, like I've always wanted to see on the show apart for the 'Alter Ego' thing shown at the end of each episode. Great work all around.

i'd just like to say that there is not knowing whether or not Trent would, eventually, go the way of a 'sellout' and get into business. people change, and one day Trent might wake and up realise that he's getting no where in life, or come across an opportunity he just doesn't want to pass up that leads him there. i know the creators gave him such convictions, but realistically, people don't ever stay exactly the same for that long. if you pay attention, Trent is slow, but he is changing.
