The 10th theme of Theme Challenge is Memory:While Riding Muneca Powell's car, Daryl's recalling some of her memories about herself as a child meeting with her grandmother and learning how to use the rod from her. Usually her memories made her sad especially since she hasn't seen her grandmother for quite a while.
Cinna, that's not a proper way to make Daryl smile.

Roberto: I'll make it right away! *hurries off to do so and returns with a very well-made cup of ginger tea* Here you go.

Larima: "Merci!" (accepting the tea)

Larima: "A place to sit down, please."

Roberto: *leads her to a comfy chair* M'lady. *smiles* Is there anything else you require?

Roberto: *smiles* Just lemme know if you need anything.

Roberto: Sure *picks up a book and begins to read in a chair, a bit later, he yawns into his hand. The little boy seems to be falling asleep in the chair*

Even Larima fell asleep.

A bit later Roberto wakes up but he feels strangely weak and tired, he tries to get up and the ten-year-old's legs buckle under him and he falls
Roberto: What? I...I feel so warm...and weak...*tries to get up but can't* Uh-oh...

Larima blinks, hearing something.
Larima looks arounds and notices Robert on the floor.
She goes and rushes to kneel next to Roberto.
"Roberto?"

Roberto: I am alright...*tries to get up but falls again, feverish an shivering* please don't worry about me...I am alright...

Larima: "No, you're not alright." (her hand on Robert's forehead for fever).
"Please rest. I'll see if I can get Carrie to look at you."

Roberto: But...I need to take care...of you...*he's trying not to sleep, his cheeks are slightly red from his fever and he's shivering from a chill*

Larima puts her fingers on Robert's mouth.
Larima: "Just please rest and sleep. Don't push yourself." (a firm tone in her voice)
She looks around and notices a small blanket over there. She grabs and puts it on Roberto's body.
"Don't try to curl yourself or your head'll get overheated and prolong the fever."
(I have to get back to drawing. See ya later!)

Larima stops, remembering something. She leave and comes back with a wet towel. She uses her power to chill the wet towel and place it on his forehead.

Roberto: *calms and sleeps easier*
Me: *comes in, dressed in my nightgown* Hey Larima, what's be going on? Robbie's sleeping pretty early it's only 9PM

Larima: "Your son is having a fever. I'm trying to get in touch with Nurse Carrie."

Me: He has a fever? *shakes my head* Silly boy, I told him not to overwork himself. *takes his temperature* 103 degrees...hmmm...pretty high. *check the towel sees its still cool* Did you do this for him?

Larima: "Oui."

Me: Thank you for taking care of him. I've tried to be a good mom but it's been rough of late.

Larima: "Oui, it is not easy being a single mother. You did your best."

Me: Then why do I feel it's not enough? *sighs, looks at my ailing son and fights back tears* He's so gentle...sometimes I wish he'd be protected from all the evil in the world...but...I can't coddle him...he says he wants to seek out his father someday...I don't know if I should allow it...I worry about him.

Larima: "Well, if the children are too protected or over-coddled, they might not be able to be strong enough to face the world out there. The most important thing is that he has to have some support and plenty of love."

Me: True, but...I just don't want him to have the heartbreak I did... I was adopted and I searched for my birth-mom...well, turns out all she wanted from me is money...she doesn't miss me or love me at all... I just don't want my son hurt like that...
(That part about me being adopted and my birth-mom not wanting me for anything except money is true...I broke all ties with her...)

(Ouch. I'm sorry to hear about that and that's not the first time I have heard of something like that. So it's good that you broke all ties with her. In a way, My OC, Breanne is similar to you, not getting any parental love).

(Meh, my adoptive mom's way cooler and she lets me do what I want, most of the time)

Me: One minute. *I head to the kitchen and get a cup with a crazy-straw in it* It's his favorite cup when he's sick.
Roberto: Princess Larima has been looking after me mom, she's been good to me.
Me: I'm glad. *small smile*

Larima blushes at the mention of "Princess" and then concentrates on gathering the humdity in the air into the glass and it's filled with 99% pure water.

Me: *softly laughs* You're not. *places the cap with the straw on the cup and holds it for him* Now, drink slow okay?
Roberto: *nods a little and sips the water slowly, finishes half the cup before refusing it* No more please.
Me: Okay...*sets it on a small table, worried need anything else?
Roberto: No...*shivers* my cold...
Me: How can he be cold when he has a fever...?

Larima: "The fever germs don't like it when it gets too hot for them, so his body is working to roast the germs by making his body to shiver in order to raise its temperature. That's how he's feeling cold even when his body is hotter. That is why I covered him with a light blanket so not to let him get overheated."

Me: *covers my son back up* Just rest sweetheart...you'll be fine soon...
Roberto: *nods and falls asleep, still shivering*
