Description
These genetics are for an original species called Lekanick . Most of their genes are based off of ones found in dogs and horses, but they are not exactly the same.You can only get mutated alleles from breeding lekanicks with MP. Mutated alleles are written in teal in the chart above. For more information about mutations and MP, read this journal .
Speckled
Speckled (Le) is a mutation of Leopard (Lp).
Le mixes with all other alleles.
Speckled is basically the super spotty allele. It adds more spots to everything.
Points
Points or Leopard Points (Lt) is a mutation of Blanket (Lb).
Lt mixes with all other alleles.
Points always shows up on the snout, feet, and tail tip. It can also extend over the head, and further up the legs.
Snowcap
Snowcap (Lc) is a mutation of Few Spot (Lf).
Lc mixes with all other alleles.
Snowcap gets rid of spots. In some combinations, called Mottled, the lekanick is completely white, but the nose is not affected. LcLs and LcLo create Streaked which has no leopard complex markings except for striped hooves.
Reverse Varnish
Reverse Varnish (Lr) is a mutation of Varnish Roan (Lv).
Lr mixes with all other alleles.
Reverse Varnish is lighter on the face, feet, tail tip, and bony areas.
Snowball
Snowball (Lo) is a mutation of Snowflake (Ls).
Lo mixes with all other alleles.
Snowball is just bigger snowflakes.
Non-Leopard
Non-leopard (l) is a mutation of Snowflake (Ls).
l mixes with all other alleles.
ll has no leopard complex markings, and has solid colored hooves. Hoof color should be based on the black pigment. Solid hooves that are surrounded by white should be lighter than other hooves.
