Mina walked down the sidewalk, sadly in the rain, which mingled wih her tears.
"I did't want to believe he was cheating on me...I knew he was...but I didn't want to believe it.",she said in a cracked voice to herself. She turned a corner, almost bumpping into someone.
"I'm sorry.",she looked up.
"It's okay.",a young man looked up.
They looked at each other as the sun shined through the grey clouds.
They both could see the other was upset about something.
They just stood there in the sun.
"I-I'm Mina."
"I'm Brendon."
One thing popped up into their minds: Love at first sight.

Mel watched irritatedly as Brendon and Mina made out on her couch.
"For the love of all that is holy....I am so burning that thing.",she clenched a fist as she filled a pitcher full of water.
Ryan gave her a puppy dog look,"Why? We make out on that couch all the time!!"
"Yeah yeah yeah, but it has their germs on it now.",she walked back into the living room with the pitcher as Ryan figured out what was going on and grinned happily.
Mel made her way over to the couple and dumpped the pitcher of water on them.
The two jumpped apart.
"AH!!"
"COLD!!!"
"Go make out somewhere else!!!",Mel growled angerly and headed back to the kitchen as Ryan burst out laughing.
"Fine...party pooper.",Brendon got up, drenched and headed out the door, Mina following him.
"Where do you want to go now?",she asked as they got outside. He shrugged and looked up at the sky. It was sunny,but raining like that first day they met.
"He just told me that he was cheating on me,"Mina spoke first. Brendon turned to her, listening to the story again.
"I knew he was. I just didn't want to believe it. But..finally he told me...and he wantted her more. I ran off...upset. I felt like I was torn apart, never to be mended.",she then looked at Brendon,"Then I met you and that all changed.
He smiled at her then looked up at the clouds,"She broke up with me too. Didn't like how I couldn't always support her money wise. Always loved shopping. She didn't want to have someone who always had to work and not see her. I wantted more money for her,but she didn't like that. I thought I would never love someone again. Then I ran into you.",he looked back at her.
They stood there in the rain thinking of love at first sight.
