Description
We started walking down the side walk, hand in hand. I liked the feeling of my hand in his. It felt...right. Like my fingers were meant to be intertwined with his.
"Alice...you okay?"
I looked up, "Huh?"
Ryan raised an eyebrow,"You've been starring at our hands like you're going to eat them...I like my hand the way it is...attached the rest of me..."
I blushed and laughed,"Sorry! Just spacing out and thinking to myself!!!",I rubbed the back of my neck with my free hand. He only rolled his eyes,"Thinking about what?", we stopped at a stop light, waiting for it to change so we could cross. I couldn't figure out where we were going.
"Nothing in particular. My mind likes to...wander..."
"Wander?",he led me across the street as the light changed for us to go to the other side.
I nodded,"I can't concentrate on one thing. I concentrate on multiple things. I do it alot. Atleast I'm not thinking aloud. Now then you would have to worry. Then you would know what I'm thinking. My own mind disturbs me.",I said a-matter-of-factly to him. He only chuckled, "Wow...what an explanation...I thought Brendon was wierd when he talks to himself in an Irish accent to imaginary Leprachaun that sits on his shoulder..."
"He...what?"
He nodded with a laugh,"Oh yeah."
I burst out laughing,"Wow!!! That is creepy.."
"Especially in the middle of the night."
"Oh dear lord..."
"Oh yeah."
We were in the park now. I saw a bench.
"Let's sit down over here!",I dragged him to the bench and we sat down, looking up at the tree tops.
"It's a nice day."
"Don't have many of those in dear old Vegas..."
He nodded,"Tell me about it."
We sat there for a moment just looking at the trees and sky.
"WATCH OUT!!!"
Dunk!!
"YEOWCH!!",I held by nose where the frisbee hit me.
"Alice! You okay?",Ryan jumpped up. I blinked, eyes watering, nose in pain.
"I think so."
Two kids ran over.
"We're so sorry!!"
"Yeah!! Totally!"
I waved a hand,"Don't worry. Accidents happen!!",I picked up the frisbee and handed it back.
"You sure?"
I nodded.
"Okay...bye!!",they ran off.
Ryan watched them,"Any normal person would of yelled at them."
I shrugged,"I may not be a normal person then. Accidents happen.",I smiled at him, nose in pain. He looked at me and laughed,"You look like a sad little kid!!"
I pouted,"Hey!! That's mean!!",I crossed my arms and looked way from him. He only rolled his eyes and pat my head like I was a little kid,"Now now...don't go acting like one of those kids..."
I sighed and stood up,"Whatever...",I looked at my phone,"It's getting late. I better head home."
"I'll walk you if you want. I don't trust you alone in Vegas.",he took me by the elbow.
I shook my head,"I don't want you to worry. I don't want to waste your time."
He only shook his head,"No. I'm walking you!! No ifs, ands, or buts!!"
"But..but...Ryan!!",he was dragging me down the sidewalk,"I live in Summerlin!!", I pointed in the opposite direction.
"Huh? You live...in...Summerlin?"
I nodded,"Yeah."
"No way!! That's where Spencer and I live!!"
I grew wide eyed. They could be my neighbors for all I know. I never trailed outside my house, only for school and going to move across the street to live with Aio.
"Really? Wow!",that was all I could say.
He started towards Summerlin. Hand in hand again. Again I was starring.
"Alice..."
I looked up at him,"Yeah?"
"What is it with you and starring at our hands?"
I lifted our hands up,"I don't know. It just...feels...right."
His face turned a shade of pink in the setting sun. It made me smile,"Awww...did I embarrase you Ry-Ry!!"
"Don't call me that!!"
"Ry-Ry!! I'm calling you that from now on!"
"Alice..."
"What? Going to hurt me?"
He smirked and squeezed my hand. I winced,"Ow...ow...OWCH!!!"
He smiled and stopped,"There." I only glared at him as we got closer to Summerlin.

My phone rang as we turned onto the corner of our street.
"Hello?",I answered seeing that it was Aio.
"Where the hell are you? You and Ry having fun?"
I blushed,"I'm almost home you idiot!!",I hung up. Ryan raised an eyerbrow,"Who?"
"Aio...acting stupid...",I turned my phone off. She would call the others and they would start calling and harassing me. I led the way to my house and we stood on the porch.
"Wow...I live like three houses down.",Ryan pointed to a house not far off then pointed in the opposite direction,"Spencer lives about five houses down that way."
"Wow..you two are close...you two the ones that set that fuse box on fire a few years back?",I smirked as he blushed,"Well...you see..it was Spencer's idea..."
"Hey, don't worry about it..."
"Right..."
We stood there for a moment.
"Oh!! I don't know when we will see each other again...",he handed me his phone. I smiled and gave him mine and put my number in his. We switched back phones.
"Seeya some time.",he walked off and I entered the house, flustered.
"ALICE!!",Aio jumpped out of nowhere and hugged me,"Ryan didn't do anything naughty did he?"
I sighed and blushed,"NO..."
"He better not of..."
She rantted on about her day when me and Ryan left. I sat there and contiplated on telling her Ry and Spencer lived a few houses down.
