Here's a bit of a backstory

She's about eighteen in this picture. She's a sheikah, but lost pretty much all of her memories four or five years ago and has been living in Kakariko. He tattoo was given to her by another Sheikah who was named after Shiek. His mother knew a lot about the Sheikah, and tried hard to keep the dying race alive.
