that's a great one!! i mean you kept the fantasy athmosphere just like you were living in one of these places (well, Yosemite is in California )!
now to make constructive comment:
i think it could use more contrast. you can easily do it using PS and if it will work out you could even do so in reality using more ink try to focus attention to the elve. you see, who image is almost in one shadow scale/layer. try toning it

i agree the elf needs more contrast, since he is a bit lighter than the surroundings

no, you misunderstood me. you can make either elve darkest or make surroundings as darkest places, this way the things that meant to attract attention will attract it even more that's what i meant

Whoa dude! This turned out much better than I expected, and is prolly in my top 5 favorite things you've done! The composition, how the architecture frames out the focal point of the piece, the hard/soft detail where needed, the inventive characters with personality (even the mushrooms seem to have personality), all works well together to form a great piece of art, with a finished feel to it.
