Description I think it's "Liberta Modifica" in the show....
Alright, this is where I explain what in the world is up with the model.
First off, this mesh is based heavily off of the Master Grade (MG) plastic model of the same name, especially proportionally. However, diversions are made in different places in order to give it more of a menacing look. Most of the modifications are ideas from magazines/sites etc. For example:
The shoulder verniers are attached to intakes on the opposite end, explaining the bulge out of the armor. This idea was from dengeki hobby magazine (actually from an image at a model show from that magazine).
The Head is based off the MG but the size is altered a bit because I thought the MG head looked "cherub-ish".
The Decals (stylised 'LM' insignias) are based off an idea by NAOKI (a pseudonym I think) of dengeki hobby magazine in a scratch kit he made last year.
Also from NAOKI is the idea of giving each DRAGOON wing a name of an ARCH ANGEL. I tried to choose names that NAOKI did not, leaving out AZRAEL - (the [good] patron angel of death and suffering) for reasons probably clear to those who watched the first series.
The skeleton for the wing is based very loosely off of Katoki's design for the Cosmic Era figure of the same name. I don't really like the way it looks at all in the MG plastic model version.
Finally, the pseudo-frame in the DRAGOONs is absent in the MG version, but something I thought it could use and would be interesting if they would glow after detaching from the Mobile Suit. This idea was also inspired from Dengeki Hobby, but uses the leg frame I made for the original Freedom as a jump off point -- specifically the booster in the lower leg. The rest consists of the gun barrel, generator, clamps (for the wing skeleton). Hence, "Ale Modificata" - Modified Wings. The Cockpit is being constructed at the moment so it's not "completely" finished.
As I said though...pretty much everyone who's done gundam in 3d has done a Strike Freedom... just trying it out as well

Software: Lightwave3D (modelling,UV's) Photoshop (post, UV textures)
