true, but I suppose it's the one who wields the tool that makes the difference
Cheers!

I went to school for it and trust me you've already mastered the hard part. Texturing a human figure is extremely difficult so you have an amazing eye for detail/color/style and presentation. A few youtube tutorials and to can lick modeling too if you wanted.

So do you model this stuff yourself? Did you go to a school to learn how to do this?

Poser seem hard to use - How long did it first take you to create the face? (including hair) Thanks.
P.S. If you know any easy ways to learn - much appreciated

well depends on how you look at it.. i didnt create the mesh if this hair nor the mesh of the character.. so that didnt take any time at all.. i did do the texture and bump maps and thats a process that never ends.. i keep updating the skin textures.. it took my 5 years to get where i am now.. so thats a long time...
poser isnt that hard to get under control tho.. especially if you have worked with other 3d applications before.. there are a couple of tutorials on youtube available on how to work with poser...

Can I ask...
where did you come up with this lady's look?
Did you just keep on working on an idea on your head until this end product stuck, or did you base it off someone at some point?
bugged me for ages

I just finished playing mass effect 2 for the 3rd time and it reminds me of when you communicate with the illusive man.... great effect.

If you ever get the chance try it I would suggest that you play them in order or you might get a bit confused as to what is going on hehehe.

can you do expressions? it seems like, when I see 3d, it looks so real, it's crazy to think that it's not. On other artist's, they seem to miss the life that comes out. But yours look polished. Impressive. very impressive.
