Encasing
Defining
My world
Changing the
Blurs of green and brown
         Into trees
Smudges of skin color
     Into faces
Blobs of red-green-white-pink-grey-black-blue
  Into people
Without my slim
Fragile
Slivers of glass
  And plastic
Held round with wire
I couldn’t see
Thank goodness
For glasses.
