And here I sit
Alone
What have I done to deserve this?
It’s not that I’m ugly
At least
I don’t think I am
And I am not stupid
Not as much as some others
But yet
Here I sit
Alone
While those others
Have their partners
Girlfriends
Boyfriends
Lovers
What horrible twist of fate has
Condemned me
To be alone
With no one to love
Or even lust after
Why is it no one sees me that way
