Well I was originally just trying out some hover bike design but added elements of an aircraft to the back and a car to the front.

Although my intentions weren't necessarily to derived design elements from the vehicle design of wipeout hd or star wars I wouldn't be surprised if I subconsciously tried to make the designs have some similarity.
