Artist's Notes: A commission done for . This Pacific Rim reject is Meathead. This one was a bit different from the others I've done so far for this series as Meathead got far enough in production that concept art and models were created depicting how the creature would look. It was even featured on the cover of a supplementary comic, though it did not appear in the comic itself. The client and I decided that, rather than simply copying this art, I would instead draw my own interpretation of the description, a quadrupedal horned dinosaur like creature with three pincers on its tail. MEGAPOTAMIA pointed out that in the original concept Meathead had an autonomous tail that could detach and attack as if it were its own creature. I may or may not be able to finish this series by the end of the year but if not expect it sometime early January. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
