We had the wonderful opportunity to work alongside a handful of talented graduating music majors from USC the past winter, and as a result Scalawags now has its own beautiful score composed by David Stanton. This makes Scalawags a completely original piece, ready for film festivals!

From concept to completion this project took us 11 weeks to produce. We spent four weeks in pre-production and five weeks animating and compositing. One week at the end to enjoy our pizza and watch the movie.
. . .And maybe do some post audio work.

Fantabulous! The introduction - the effects of the images floating about the map - gorgeous. So was the water reflection affect on the first landscape of the ship.
The facial expressions are wonderful and flow so smoothly. I simply love what you've done for this and I assure you it's worth every second of the time you've worked for it. Excellent animation! I am thoroughly impressed xD

That was amazing! The 3-D effect at the beginning took my breathe away. Very nice work. You all did a wonderful job-11 weeks of work truely shows in this masterpiece.

Wow you guys did a great job. The audio was a bit of the mouth movement but that was probably just my comp being slow again.I love the fluidity of the framework. I thoguht it would be longer but quality definitely made up for quantity.

The dialogue matches the lip synch in the original files, but the internet tends to do that to things. >.< And we animated at 30 frames a second to make things smoother. Thanks for your kind comment!
