Description
Foreshadow is a ooak (one of a kind) kirin sculpture. She was made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature. I painted her in acrylics, and her hair is tibetan lamb fur. She's about 5 inches long from chest to bum, and about 8 inches tall to the tip of her horns. Her anatomy and markings are based on a "blackbuck". She's a soft grey with greyish blue iridescent scales, horns, and hooves. Her eyes are light grey and made from resin.
I spent 3 days out taking photos around my city in different areas. This photo was taken in a conservation area, it was super pretty but was a bit of a mission to get to!
Thanks for looking! Foreshadow has been sold.

A kirin! And a very nice sculpture if I do say so. If I could, I would buy it. It is that good.

right now you're not sounding like a critic. You could at least give some tips for improvement rather than tearing it apart =___=

Do you have any suggestions on what I can improve for next time?

well, the most obvious thing is it looks like a piece of stone...which it mos likely is. If you look at the lighting on the butt...and on the inside of its legs, its solid.
If you want it to look more realistic, try to give it a furry texture. It is winter, its gotta be the coldest animal/thing ever!

Haha fair enough, I guess if I photograph them out in the cold I should give them more fur Good point, thanks

also if you read the description box, she clearly states the material used to create her piece of work. And I'm pretty sure that's what the animal's skin texture would be if it was real. It's a mythical creature, it doesn't have to be furry.

and the reason people most likely come to view this is because at first the creature looked real.
