DISASTER!! After taking this picture I noticed that I missed completely spraying metallic black on a few surfaces on the right side of the helmet, so I picked up the spray and went outside to paint. I squeezed the spray and hit my helmet with CHROME!! AAAARGH!!! Then I compounded the mistake by trying to cover the wet chrome paint with more metallic black and made several unsightly "puddles".

Fortunately, due to the enormous size of this model, it is very easily salvageable. I'm going to have to do some touch-up sanding once the paint cures and just spray it again, with the *RIGHT* color. (stupid, stupid, stupid) Next time, I'll pay more attention to the can I pick up...
