Description
For in that sleep of death what dreams may comeWhen we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life?
RIKI TIKI TAVI WOULD.

This time, Riki killed the snake with a knife, not his fangs. (Hey!)
Great work!

I love how he's wearing a cobra fang as a victory prize as a skilled warrior. Lovely touch!

Simply superb work on the cobra. I'm loving how the scales turned out! My only suggestion there would have been to continue working on them even on the tail, or at least show some small trace of them. Right now it looks a little too 'naked' and worm-like

Brilliant work! Those scales are awesome and the blood on Riki Tiki Tavi's dagger is a great touch.

This is gorgeous! The motion... oh the motion... and I love the Redwall-ish atmosphere to the painting. A person can absolutely relate to his plight, his battle, his very human expression...
Sorry for blabbering. I can't help it.

Rudyard Kipling has definitely given this world some great poems and stories, with even greater characters.
